Fuel Up! School Lunch Program
The first day of lunch delivery for the 2022/2023 school year will be Monday September 19th–please ensure that you place your child’s orders at least 48 hours in advance of delivery!
Did you know that the New Westminster School District offers students and families at all elementary and middle schools the option to order either regular or occasional lunches for students through the Fuel Up! School Lunch Program?
Our lunch provider, Simply Foods, makes giving your kids a tasty and healthy lunch easier. There are options to meet a variety of dietary needs, with regularly revised menus to reflect the feedback the caterer receives from families and highlight student favourites. At Glenbrook, the lunches are delivered to the school daily, just before the lunch hour begins, then set out at the tables across from the office by Ms. Jull and organized by division for students to pick up for their eating time.
A small portion of each lunch purchased goes to support the full and partial program subsidies that are available for families who may need them. As well, since everyone gets the same food options and packaging, the program helps to take stigma of subsidized lunches away, as it simply makes sure every student has access to good food.

For families who were enrolled in the subsidy program last school year, please be aware that your approval has rolled over through this year as well. If you’d like to change that, you can reach out to the team at Simply Foods (email@example.com), or connect with your school Principal.
**A quick reminder that if your child has used the lunch program in previous school years, you must update your account information at the start of each new school year to reflect the new class/division/school they should be delivered to! If you are unsure of your child’s new division/teacher after the first week of school, please contact the office and we will be happy to assist you. 🙂
