MyEducation BC Family Portal

Glenbrook is excited to begin use of the MyEdBC family portal to help facilitate greater communication between teachers, schools, and families. We have created family portal accounts for all Glenbrook families, which allows students and parents/guardians to view:

  • class attendance information
  • contact information
  • assessment information shared by teachers
  • student schedules
  • school information
  • published report cards

When you receive notification that your account has been created, it is important that you log in and get acquainted with the portal environment since you will be receiving your child’s report card through the parent portal when they are available. Moving forward, we hope to do much of our communication around student learning through the family portal. If you have not received a notification email from MyEdBC by Friday November 29th, 2019, or if you have difficulties logging into your account after that date, please email us at glenbrook@sd40.bc.ca. Please note: If you are also the parent or guardian of a NWSS student and already have an account for them, your Glenbrook student should be attached to the same account when you log in.

On Security:
MyEdBC is a secure student information system used in all public school districts in the province of BC. Security is guided by the rules and regulations of the School Act as well as the Freedom of Information and Privacy Act (FOIPPA). Access to your child’s information is only provided to legal guardian(s). Each parent or legal guardian will have their own account.
